The Story
Our very first MACLA Cruise was a fun-filled, memoriable event. We had over 30 members who helped make this trip a sucess!!
Our first day started with check-in at the Port of Long Beach.

After we settled in our staterooms on board, we kicked back in the lobby area.

Then we were all summoned for an emergency evacuation training. Check us out with our life jackets.

Right next to our ship was the older ship Queen Mary. Looks small compared to the Paradise

Our first night dinner we all enjoyed our dinner. See Uncle Rex dig into his Baby Back Rib plate.

Did you know that they can make little animal from your towels? Guess what these animals are...

After dinner we caught the comedy acts....Ahyeee!! (inside joke for those that saw the show).

Our very own Tessie got a chance to go on stage to entertain the crowd.

Then a few of us went to the casino.

The next day we spent the day at Sea. We played miniature golf on the Sun Deck

Check out the waterslide in the background

Here's a few of our shipmates sitting by the Jacuzzi on the Lido Deck

Lian and Lira dressed as pirates at Camp Carnival. Aye Matees!!

We tried not to over eat in the Paris Buffet Restaurant...but sometimes you can't help yourself.

Going on a cruise can be very relaxing

Dinner on the second day was formal wear. Look how elegant we all looked:

I personally won't forget the melting chocolate dessert which one member claimed was better than S_ _...(you fill in the blanks).

After dinner, we all went to see the on-board musical.

We then went off to dance at Rex's Disco. Check out some of the photo's. Who's that guy dancing with Gail?

On Sunday, we docked in Ensenda. We all put on our MACLA t-shirt and headed off into town.

We had a whole tour bus to ourselves on our way to La Bufadora. We even got the tour guide to sing us La Bomba along the way.

We finally arrived at La Bufadora.

This is our group heading down through the Market Place on our way to see the blowhole.

This guy is showing us an acid test that can distinguish real silver from the fake ones.

Look real close at Viagra Man and you'll see how he got his name! (or he's just really happy to see Jared)

We finally made to the blow hole.

We went to the very top of a Mexican restaurant overlooking the bay.

Here's Zach with his head stuck in between the seats on the bus going back to the ship.

Who do you think looks better in the big sombrero?

Dinner our last night, they made us dance.

Windell makes his big announcement that he and Celina are now engaged. Congrats to the cute couple!!

Did you know what Santa does when it's not Christmas? He parties on a Carnival Cruise!!

Monday came and so did the end of our trip. So we all got together one last time for breakfast before we all went back home. Back to school for the kids, back to work for the adults. Goodbye Ensenda, Goodby Santa, goodbye Paradise. What's are next big MACLA trip?
