My original email about scenarios after 5pm.
I'm infavor of overnight camp and here is why.
Hi everybody.
This is really important and I need your feedbacks immediately. Suggestion and mostly a concern from (Dinah relayed this feedback) some of our members.
Now due to our limited hours in Chino Prado Park Hall. Some members will feel that it is too short to socialize for the event,
particularly the playing time for mahjong or pusoy.
One suggestion is to overnight camp. It will cost about (est. 60 people x $3= $180 + misc.). Coordinating and logistics of tables, chairs, set-up canopies, Tito Terry needs to “u-haul” generator+lamps and miscellaneous items (he does not know this yet). This is an event by itself and very labor intensive. Imagine the whole day, officers facilitating the event and after is to set-up camp.
To save time, labor and money. My suggestion is to travel 45 miles to my place (by the way, it is ok with Cindy. J) and just bring the left over food that we have and set-up for mahjong and pusoy. We will take care of the needs of the M & P players
(mahjong & pusoy), it could be hot fresh coffee or warm bread, hey maybe a massage! What I’m saying is, after spending much of our energy during the day, it will be less headache compared to doing this outdoors. Plus, 100% of the tong goes to our general fund.
Or the other way is just close the event at 5pm and for sure some members might feel unsatisfied one way or another.
Let me know.
Call me or email is fine.
Cordially,
Alvin Dela Cruz
